The International Institute for Smart Transportation, Infrastructure, Finance and Computing (IISTIFC) affiliated with the School of Smart Cities at South China University of Technology (SCUT), Guangzhou, China invites applicants to fill full-time faculty openings on SCUT Guangzhou International Campus for conducting engineering and management education and interdisciplinary cutting-edge research.

The openings include tenure-track/tenured Assistant/Associate/Full Professor and Chair/Endowed Professor positions. English is the official language for lecturing. The appointees need strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching. Duties of the appointees include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, developing funded research, and providing professional services. To be eligible to apply for the tenure-track Assistant Professor position, the applicant needs to have a post-doctoral experience and no less than two years of research experience outside of China. The post-doctoral experience requirement can be waived for exceptional applicant. By the time of appointment the applicant must have an earned PhD degree in one of the fields: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistical Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Science, or related field.
